In Loving Memory, Elvira Galang

With deep sadness, Damayan Migrant Workers Association shares the loss of our dearly beloved Elvira Galang (Aug 19, 1956 – Sept 13, 2026). Elvie was born in Bulacan, Philippines, and is survived by her son Joseph Raad. She was a dear Damayan worker leader, fellow domestic worker, friend, and tireless organizer and activist in progressive Filipino communities in New York and the Philippines.
