Human Rights For All Women!

Damayan continues to call for justice and human rights for all women. ALL women, from women illegally displaced in Gaza, Palestine to low-wage migrant women in New York City, deserve to live with dignity and safety. In 1908, women in NYC garment factories protested for their labor rights, creating the first recorded Women’s Day. Today, women in the informal domestic work industry, like Damayan members, often experience labor and human rights abuses.

In Gaza, girls and women, including pregnant women, are denied their basic human rights. Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, where 70% of those murdered were women and children. Women suffer daily. Violence separates mothers from their children while children are dying of famine. As we close out International Women’s Month, Damayan will March for Palestine land and liberation today, Sat 3/30, at Times Square. Pls join us as we demand PERMANENT CEASEFIRE NOW!
